Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

I never get sick.     I never miss work.    Well, in May 2016 both of those things happened.      So, I went to dr and she told me I had bronchitis and we would do a chest x-ray to rule out pneumonia.
It was at that point that they saw a small shadow and decided that a CT scan needed to be done.
Found out I had a nodule in both lungs.
And so, the process started.
CT Scan.
PET Scan.
Endoscopies
Colonoscopy
2nd opinion from U of MN.
On and on it goes.
So, bottom line is that I have an "unusual" type of cancer.       It looks like it came from some where else (pancreas, colon, etc) but it didn't.       It happens but the dr says few drs will see it in their career and he has now had 2 of them.
So, I started chemo.
First week....2 medications.     Second week.....1 medication.       Third week.....off.
Couldn't look at food the first week and apparently they gave me a strong dose as my blood counts dropped.
So, I go back tomorrow for 2nd round and we'll see what he'll do.
Have to say that prayers are the key here.......so many praying for me.
I believe God will heal me.
So, if you are reading this and have been praying.....please keep it up.
