Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.  We are saddened by the sudden death of Jim on Tuesday, Oct. 10.  We were having a wonderful vacation in Barcelona, Spain, when Jim collapsed and passed out in our hotel room.  He was transported by ambulance to the hospital where he was treated.  The Dr said he had cancer throughout his body. He had a massive bleed on his brain and could not be saved. He died peacefully and with no pain.  We had no idea that he had cancer.  Sharon is at home in Albuquerque, as is Lise, and friends may visit in the afternoons during the week.  Thank you for all of your notes, prayers, messages and phone calls.  It has been a huge help.  We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.
