Welcome to my CaringBridge website.  I am so thankful for the support and encouragement of my family and friends, near and far. I created this site so everyone can follow my journey of healing into wellness. I can update one place to keep everyone in the loop so you can follow my progress through my upcoming surgery and recovery. I appreciate your support and words of encouragement. Please keep me in your prayers as I begin my second journey toward abundant health and wellness. You are welcome to add me to any prayer list at your Church. Some of you know my story from last year. Some of you may not know what happened to me, so I'm starting from the beginning. The posts are numbered. So, if you already know what happened, you can skip some of the information. I went into detail because I know I haven't been in touch with everyone on my list since last year. Some people are just finding out that I left Maryland and am now in Florida, and some of you have followed my journey since the very beginning. 


I am really feeling good right now, although I still have limitations on what I can do and where I can go. They told me a year ago that it would take me a year to recover. As much as I didn't believe them, it was true. This is the longest time I've ever been going in slow motion! Sometimes it's hard to think that I'm going to be going backward in order to go forward, but that's the way it is. It may well be Spring 2018 before I'm back to this point. I sure hope it doesn't take that long, but I'm being realistic. If I don't have this surgery now, I will never get to where I want to be. So, it is what it is. I will continue taking one day at a time and know that this too shall pass. Please join me in my journey and cheer me on.
