Update on our momma on her 75th birthday.., Hi Friends and Family of Sharon, after many tests and after almost 17 hours in emergency, our Mom is finally in the Internal Medicine Ward-Unit 71. They ruled out Congestive Heart Failure and she was negative for Covid, PTL. But she was/is very very sick. Turns out she has a bacterial infection that has spread to her blood, as well as fluid buildup around her right lung. They have already drained over 700 ml of fluid. They have her on IV antibiotics and are trying to find out where the infection originated. Please pray there is no further spread.

For those who don’t know, our precious mom received a cancer diagnosis in February of this year. She has stage 2 Multiple Myeloma, and had been getting oral chemo treatments for the last two months. This infection puts a pause on her treatment, so we would also love your prayers for that as well.

   
We just wanted to put out an update on our sweet mom. She is slowly improving day by day! The antibiotics seem to be doing their job on the sepsis and the doctors think they’ve drained most of the infected fluid from her chest cavity. She is so weak and has a long recovery ahead of her (in hospital for quite a while yet), but thank the Lord she is alive! and on the mend! She is also slowly beginning to eat again. Thank you so much to all of you for your love and concern and prayers, it means so much!
