On Thursday, May 30th, Shari went into the Hutchinson Health clinic for a biopsy due to an increase from a 3 in her BI-Rads, which is a set of stages classifying and categorizing findings on a mammogram, from 6 months ago, to now 4, meaning that a biopsy must be done to an abnormal spot found on her right breast via 3D mammogram. On Friday, May 31st, Shari received a call with the results from her biopsy and was told that she has IDC, or Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.
