Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Hillary will do most of the updating but Angie has the ability as well. 

Mom passed out on Monday February 25th due to a pause in her heart. She suffered a severe spinal cord injury from C1-C4 as well as neck fractures at C1 and C2. It is the worst spinal cord injury you can have. At this time, it looks like incomplete quadriplegia as she has a little movement in her toes and left hand as well as some sensation randomly intact. She is very much alert and is cognitively intact. This is 100% life changing. Please follow along for updates. They will probably be frequent as it is cathartic for me. 


She is currently at Quality Living Inc. in Omaha.
