Shara Lindstrom

Thank you for visiting.  Who knew that waking up last Wednesday morning  with a horrible migrane that Shara would be on the path to being admitted to Regions on Monday 9/17.  She also had a few other symptoms like brain fog, trouble with balance and you could see it affecting her left foot and face a little.    After a CT scan that Monday at Hudson Hospital showed a mass or irregularity in her brain they advised going right to Regions to get the pain and swelling under control.  The CT scan shows that there is a mass pushing on the right ventricle so it is not able to remove the fluid as it should, which was causing much of the discomfort and affecting the frontal right lobe of her brain. She was admitted to the ICU for close monitoring and to await another CT and MRI.   A CT of her torso was also done to rule out any issues going on anywhere else that may have traveled to her brain.  We are so greatful that came back negative and clear!  The MRI showed that is was not an infection as was one of the possibilities and that it was in fact a tumor.  Surgery is scheduled for 7:30am tomorrow 9/19.    The out pouring of love is already almost over whelming!  Please keep it coming!  She will have a long recovery ahead of her but as we, her family know, she is stubborn (I say with love! )  and a fighter and with this crew of friends and family surrounding her and Charlie and the boys she is going to power through this!   Please pray for strength and peace as she faces the next weeks, as this is her first surgery ever!
