Some of you may know that Shan fell and broke her leg on Thursday, December 14--it was a compound fracture that required surgery. She was at Swedish, but has moved to rehab at the Kline Galland Home. Shan's a champ and a survivor, and she's handling this with her usual tough good spirits, but she can use some visits from her pals. Even after she gets home, she won't be able to put any weight on her leg for 6 weeks. She'll need ongoing support from her community --and we know her friends will want to find ways to plug in. Please keep an eye on this site for a schedule of needs, and please stop by Kline Galland at 7500 Seward Park Ave. when you can. You can also give a call--Kline Galland's main phone is 207 725 8800 and Shan's room phone is 206 805 2308. Even a short visit can help a lot to let Shan know we're there for her. We'll post updates.
