On Thursday, September 29, Shannon had a routine colonoscopy and was told that she had cancer. The tumor was removed on the following Tuesday, with three lymph nodes testing positive for cancer, and eventually finding a spot on her liver, making it stage 4 cancer. Shannon's surgery and recovery have been remarkable, but there is more distance to travel on this road. With a strong faith, Shannon able to see moments of grace in every part of this process.
