Hello Friends and Family of the Watkins Family,


I am Shannon's sister-in-law, I wanted to do something for her in her time of need even though I am far away. Shannon would do anything for so many people. As her close friend Emi Jo posted recently "She will literally give you the shirt off her back." She has helped me in so many ways, including coming to Duluth to give me multiple hand-me-downs and help when I had my little one. She is a completely honest and genuine person. It is my favorite quality about Shannon, she is exactly who she is no matter who you are. 


Now I want you to imagine what it would be like to be in her shoes. You have four kids, all under 8 including a 6 month old baby girl (This alone shows you she is a super mom and person, but lets take this further). You are in the middle of a pandemic and trying to figure out home-schooling. You are big part of your family business and you are about to move into a new house. You get pulled in all directions at all times in every way. Anyone with all of that on their brain and heart would be obviously stressed.


But no, not this amazing woman. If you have a conversation with Shannon you would  have no idea. She is not one to ask for help before she has exhausted all other options, and she is not one to put her problems on anyone else. 


She has recently found out she has cancer, she will need to go through chemotherapy and multiple surgeries. Now she and her family need help. She will not be able to do all the things she is used to doing. Medical bills will add up and she will not be able to help at the shop as much.


I created this site so that she could post updates, or have me post, when there is time. We would also like to ask for any financial assistance you are able to give. $5, $10, $20, $50 or more, EVERYTHING HELPS.
