Shannon's world was turned upside down the end of April when she was diagnosed with a stage IV Glioblastoma Multiform (GBM). She has been receiving her care at Mercy Medical Center. She began her treatments of chemo (pill form) and daily radiation on May 15th. She will finish her first round of treatments on June 29th and will go to Mayo June 30th for a second opinion and develop a plan of care for the next step in her journey.
Shannon and her family are beyond grateful for everyone's prayers, love, and support. This website will allow her to keep all of you updated. As always, please continue to pray for strength and guidance. " She believed she could, so she did" has been our motto her Shannon! She's a fighter!
