Shannon Price Shannon’s FIGHT 💪🏼

We are using this site to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.
In the latter part of August, Shannon found a lump on her left breast, which was removed and determined malignant. Soon after a biopsy of the lymph node determined the cancer had spread. Shannon is working with an oncology team at KU Med, and last  Friday she had surgery to install the chemo port. Chemotherapy started today. Chemo will be in 2 parts. Part 1 will be 2 chemo meds together every other week for 4 treatments. Part 2 will be 1 chemo med every week for 12 weeks. Monday’s will be her chemo day and Tuesday’s  (during Part 1) she has to return for an immune system shot to boost her white blood cell count.
She will also have shots every 30 days to put her into menapause and shut her ovaries down. This is because her cancer is positive for both estrogen and progesterone.
This is JUST the beginning. Surgery and radiation will follow chemo. This is projected be at minimum a year long journey.
Shannon’s FIGHT will take a VILLAGE!
We are asking for prayers and healing thoughts for Shannon, and prayers for Shane, Tristen, Titan, Talon and the entire family. We believe in the power of prayer!

We very much appreciate all your prayers and support.
