Please Note: Shannon does not presently have a funding campaign at all. The Donation Button below support Caring Bridge Only. Shannon lives in a little town in far West Texas called Lamesa. She is a Sister, an Aunt, a dear friend to countless people, and she would say she is the "Person" lovingly owned by two beloved Kitty Kats. Shannon has been a pillar member of Louisville Center for Spiritual Living for 8 wonderful years. Though we are physically a 17-hour drive away, you would never know it for her dedication, given the Blessing of virtual connections by phone and over the internet.
On Monday, October 22, Shannon went to the doctor because her energy level and normal level of vitality felt zapped for about three weeks. She was totally unaware of any particular cause for this. By the end of the examinations the doctor could offer in Lamesa, she learned that she has cancer of more than one type. They transferred her right away to the hospital in Lubbock. This is so sudden and so new that Shannon and her family are awaiting any more information, but we do know the condition of the cancer is very advanced; she may not have options for medical treatment.

Presently, there isn't any specific support the family is asking for; it's all too new. We don't have a fund-raiser for Shannon set up right now. Anyone donating below would be donating to CaringBridge, not directly to Shannon.
