Shane was critically injured in an accident on April 26, 2018 at approximately 6 pm on Bunker Lake Blvd and Co. Road 47, in Ramsey, MN.   He was hit by a car, thrown in the air, landed on the windshield of the car and bounced off to eventual land on the roadway suffering severe head injuries, broken bones etc.   There were witnesses and others nearby who called for help, Anoka County Sheriffs, Highway Patrol and one witness covered him with blankets to help reduce shock.    Shane was airlifted to HCMC where he remains in Intensive Care and is receiving excellent care.  He has quite a team of physicians, specialists, nurses and aides who are really the cream of the crop of their professions.   Shane is only allowed family visitors at the present time .    We would ask for prayer, having his name added to your church prayer lists/chains would be greatly appreciated by the family.   Shane has a long long road ahead of him for full recovery.

The pictures above show Shane in one of his favorite surroundings, the ocean at the Outer Banks, N.C.   One of his other most favorite spots to relax and enjoy is the North Shore of Lake Superior where he has enjoyed his love of kayaking, camp fires and skipping rocks with his girls at any one of many different beaches.
