Seth has been treated for lung cancer since spring of 2015, including many sessions of chemotherapy and radiation, and two immune system boosting treatments, along with talk of surgery to remove part his lung.

A couple of months ago he lost some function in his left hand and it was discovered that he had two lesions in his brain. These were treated successfully at the U of M hospital using focused gamma irradiation.

As he resumed his immune boosting treatments he began complaining of severe pain in his lower back. MRIs showed that he has a lesion or tumor pressing on his spine. He was prescribed medication to help relieve the pain and had a radiation treatment on the tumor in order to reduce the pressure and pain in his lower back and began home care.

Recently he became so weak that he is unable to stand and had several falls. Seth was moved to Our Lady of Peace Hospice Residence this morning. It’s at 2076 St. Anthony Ave., St. Paul (next to the freeway just off Cleveland). It’s a really nice place.  The visiting hours are from 11:30 until 7:00.
