On Tuesday March 14th at 12 am our daughter Serenity woke up screaming, rushing to her bedside I went to pick her up she was extremely hot and as I slide my hand behind her back she screamed and said "It hurts mom" It hurts". Both my husband and I rushed her to Mercy hospital about 20 min away..She was quickly admitted and was taken straight into surgery. At that moment we never realized how life changing this would be. We were informed by doctors that our baby girl is fighting a deadly infection that's eaten away at her muslce, fat and skin. Her blood pressure would not stabilize dropping extremely low. She was then rushed to children's Hospital, where we were told our daughter was going into septic shock and they needed to quickly get her into an induced coma and they needed to help her breathe so they needed to put her on a respiratory machine..Little did I know what I would see when they were done. My daughter at this moment is fighting her way out of this nightmare and we ask if you can pray with us and continue to show her love and support as we work together stay strong for her..Thank you
