Jeff is a self-less father of 5, who's children range in age from 25, 14, 12, 12, and 10, who has always put his family, and others before him. He has worked endlessly for his whole life doing physical manual labor. In addition, he suffers from a spinal disease called Spondylothesis, a condition in which one bone in your back slides forward over the bone below it, causing numbness, weakness, and major back pain. He has worked for a Tree Trimming Company for 17 years, and has hardly missed a day of work despite his pain and suffering.
He is married, however, to a women who abused him physically, mentally, and emotionally for 13 years. Recently, he has undergone major surgery to correct his Spondylothesis, and cannot work for a minimum of 3 months. To add on to the notion that when is rains it pours, his wife left him and his 4 young children, moved out, and took many of living necessities. Being out of work for 3 months due to major surgery, he is suffering in a financial crisis, among continuous medical bills, and his 4 youngest children, and himself are struggling. His short term disability is only allowing for a measly $379 a week, which he has to support himself, and 4 young children.
He has been active in trying to receive services through the county, however, this is a process, and takes time, not to mention, he may not be able to qualify considering he is still "technically" married.
I am asking for help to provide encouragement, resources, and financial donations to help my father in this serious time of need. If anyone has ever struggled before, or understands life circumstances please help. I cannot do this on my own, nor help him on my own.
