Welcome to our CaringBridge site. Dad has been diagnosed with Glioblastoma. He will start treatment soon. This all started on Friday night April the 1st. We got home from dinner and he basically stopped responding to us. Everything we asked him he would tell us he didn't understand what we were talking about. We took him to the emergency room at Grandview and they did a cat scan. This is where they first saw the mass on his brain. He then had surgery that following Monday to remove it and find out what it was. The news we got wasn't what we wanted or expected. We were told that is was most likely Glioblastoma which is an aggressive cancer of the brain. We got pathology reports on Friday and it confirmed Glioblastoma. Thanks for joining us in this journey!
