Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.

Many of you know that Scott was diagnosed about 6 months ago with CMML, a form of leukemia.   The only cure for the disease is a stem cell transplant.  Therefore, after 5 rounds of chemo we are headed to Mayo next week.  His donor is from Germany so a courier will fly there to get the "goods" and fly them back.  We will be moving into a condo on Easter Sunday.  It  is located only two blocks from Mayo, which is very convenient since  he will need to report there each day after his transplant for the first 30 days.  The preparation for Scott's transplant begins on April 2, which takes about 8 days .  The actual transplant, at this point, is scheduled for April 11 or 12.   Our daughters and I will try to keep you updated through this site.  Thank you ahead of time for the all of the support, cards,  care baskets, kind words, and encouragement that we have already received as we begin our 100 day journey.  God Bless all of you!!
