Scott was taken by ambulance to the hospital on Friday, Dec 30, 2016 after losing consciousness at home. Doctors have determined that he has sepsis. Sepsis is the result of a massive immune response to bacterial infection that gets into the blood. He is currently being cared for in the ICU at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View. He has not regained consciousness and he is on dialysis for his kidney. Our biggest concern right now is that his liver is not functioning. Doctors are recommending a liver transplant. If they were to pursue the transplant, Scott will need to be transported to UCSF medical center. Please pray for wisdom as doctors determine how to best care for him.
