Scott was recently diagnosed with a 5.6 mm Ascending Aorta/Aortic Root Aneurysm. He will be having open heart surgery to replace the damaged portion of the aorta. They will also be replacing his Aortic Heart Valve with a mechanical one. We will be heading to Mayo on Tuesday February 2nd. They will be doing tests and consultations up to his surgery on Friday February 5th. We both feel very comfortable with the decision to go to Mayo. Please keep Scott in your thoughts and prayers.
