Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Scott and I talked and decided that it was time to update family and friends about his condition. Scott was diagnosed with prostate cancer five years ago and has been fighting it ever since. The cancer is an aggressive small cell cancer and has moved the stomach area, with a tumor that sits just above his kidney. His pain has increased and he will soon have an intrathecal pain pump implanted to help him get some relief. During the past few years, he has undergone chemotherapy and radiation which worked for a time. However, recently the chemo stopped working so he began super interferon immunotherapy, unfortunately this showed no results.  We are preparing for palliative care and hospice in the coming weeks.

Scott wants to let all his family friends know he is so grateful for their love and support. He also wants people to know he still hates computers and won't be checking this site often or responding. He is in a lot of pain these days. But I will pass on all messages to him and I know he would enjoy hearing from people.

Thanks for keeping him in your thoughts.
