Scott hurt his back on the job in early March, 2017, but no matter what he tried, his back injury wasn't healing. When X-rays revealed a spot on his lung, we were stunned.  Each doctor's visit brought harder news to hear.

What we now know is that Scott has inoperable, Stage 4 Metastatic Adenocarcinoma (the non-smoker's lung cancer).  The reason his back wasn't healing is that the cancer has spread to the bones.  Other locations include lymph nodes, the spleen, and the brain.

We hold out hope for recovery, and will make the most of the time we  still have together. No matter the outcome, Scott's hope is that his experience with cancer will draw all eyes to the cross.

We will continue to provide updates here on our journey, with specific prayer requests and stories.
