Scott was running on Monday evening, August 22, 2016 at the track at Southwestern School.  A young man who was also running saw that Scott had collapsed and began CPR. Another good Samaritan, who was driving past, stopped and also helped with CPR. When the ambulance arrived, paramedics shocked Scott's heart and he was taken to Hanover Hospital.  Doctors found that Scott had 80% blockage in his main artery. A piece of plague had come lose which is what caused him to go into cardiac arrest. Doctors were able to insert a stint and is heart is currently functioning as expected.

Scott has been heavily sedated since Monday night to allow his body time to rest and heal. A major concern at this point is the effect  to his brain from  the lack of oxygen he may have sustained. We are taking it moment by moment as we prayerfully ask God for a full recovery.  Please join us in praying that Scott will begin to respond positively as he is taken out of sedation. I will continue to update each praise and prayer so that you can join along with us in praying for Scott. We have felt the love and support of many and we are truly grateful.
