Scotty has been dealing with liver cirrhosis from alpha 1 anti trypsin defiencey. He went into United March 14th with an infected abscess on his butt and went into severe sepsis from that. He has surgery to clean out the abscess but has had multiple issues arising since the surgery. He transferred to the University of MN to await a liver transplant.
