Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
Scott was diagnosed in June 2019 with pancreatic cancer and type 2 diabetes.  He went through 6 months of chemotherapy at St John's Cancer Center. Treating with Dr Cheema and the nurses and staff at the clinic helped Scott battle the cancer war, although "IN THIS FAMILY NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE". Scott often said he was fighting poison with poison.  In February 2020, Scott went through 6 weeks of radiation and additional chemo, finishing the treatments in April. After 6 months. Scans showed the tumor had grown and his symptoms were increasing. Scott began his hospice journey October 11, with the Fairview Lakes hospice team. Scott also was teamed up with service dog Oxley in October from the Can-Do-Canines organization. Together we are providing comfort care and loving support as we travel this journey together. We know there are many family members, Scouters, and friends praying for Scott and our family. We feel the love and support. We trust in God's will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
