Scott Cripe

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Scott was diagnosed with prostate cancer on September 24, 2021. But that does not and will not define him. What better defines him is his love for life, his family, his sense of humor, and his extended network of friends.
Scott and Elisha were married in 2003 in the UP of Michigan and started dreaming of living in the UP in 2000. We moved up here in October of 2020 and started building our dream home, a log cabin on the AuTrain River just down the road from Lake Superior.
Together we have 4 amazing children, who are not children anymore. Justin is married to Bo and they live in Maryland. Amber is married to John, they live in Three Rivers Michigan and have 5 children: Michael, Blake Janie, Jacob & Sawyer. Ashley lives in Mishawaka Indiana and has 2 children; Lily & Kambrya. Our youngest daughter is Samantha, she is married to Kellie and they live in South Bend Indiana.
Scott got his Real Estate license and is working on that these days. Elisha is an Oncology Infusion Nurse.
Scott has always had a great sense of humor like his father and we would like to keep this site lighthearted and fun to keep in the spirit of Scott but yet still share important information with all our family and friends. Scott asks for no pity and for no one to feel sorry for him, he only wants positive attitudes and thoughts. I’ve asked our kids to help run the site with me and to have fun with it. They know their dad the best!
