Scott, being the ever dutiful guy that he is, went for his colonoscopy as soon as he turned 50. It turns out to be a good/bad thing. The doctor found a mass that has turned out to be cancer. Upon further investigation (a CT scan), it has been determined that the cancer has spread to his lymph nodes, abdominal wall, and liver. It is considered stage 4 cancer.
Tomorrow (November 10th) we will travel to Northwestern Hospital to consult with a specialist.
