Saylor Jo Vazquez

Welcome to Saylor Jo's caring bridge page.  She is the daughter of Dan and Hannah (Lewis) Vazquez and little sister of Levi Lincoln Vazquez  (2.5) . She was born in a big hurry at 33.5 weeks!   Will you join us in praying for this sweet baby girl to continue to fight the good fight and grow in health and stature.  We anticipate her being in the NICU until early November.  But our Sovereign Lord knows the exact timing and we trust Him.  Here are a few words from mom, Hannah's posts this last week. "No one can prepare you for something like this. It’s heart breaking to leave that precious baby in the hospital that you’ve grown to bond with, especially on a day like today where she has had setbacks. SJs bilirubin levels are a bit off(least of my concerns right now) and she is struggling to breathe on her own. Her doctor is worried that there is more to her delayed breathing than normal, so they will be doing an MRI and spinal tap today. I believe in the power of prayer so I’m asking that all my prayer warriors lift up our girl- That there is no brain infection or injury, That she progresses well, hits all her milestones to graduate the NICU and can be home with us soon. We can’t wait to have our family complete, but it looks like it may be a little longer than we thought."
