Welcome to our CaringBridge site.  Sawyer Joshua Rucker was born December 1, 2013, the youngest in our family of 8 children.  He was a happy, healthy boy until early July 2014. We noticed he seemed excessively tired, fussy, and weak; and chalked it up to a hectic couple of weeks and the fact that he was cutting 4 new teeth at once. We were shocked when he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).  We've created this site to keep friends and family updated through our journey.  We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.  We are learning to trust God with every detail, and we pray Sawyer's story encourages many others to grow in their faith in the One True God!
