Sari was diagnosed with COVID on 1/31/2022. She went into ICU on 2/3 with double pneumonia, sepsis, fluid on her lung so a chest tube was inserted to treat the infection and she is also a Type 1 diabetic. Sari is SO strong and a fighter! The first 2 days in ICU she kept trying to breath above the vent and they were finally able to sedate her enough to keep her comfortable. Yesterday they began doing breathing challenges to wean her off the vent, but it was unsuccessful and they will continue trying until she is able to breath on her own. As of today, 4 days into being in ICU, she remains stable so prayers are being answered. We will continue to pray for Sari that each day she will get closer to a complete healing. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
