Saretta Kampfe

Saretta Rose was born at 9:29am this morning September 20th weighing 8 pounds 2.5 ounces. When she was born she made a couple noises, but they had to put a breathing tube in right away as well as get her on oxygen. They put tubing through the umbilical cord and it kept going where they didn't want it. They did X-Ray's and ultrasounds and found out that her liver is in fact partly in her chest it was just twisted and hiding towards the back so it was never seen on my ultrasounds. They are also having a difficult time with her heart. Her heart is not pumping blood into the lungs like they should be. The blood is bypassing the lungs so they are putting her on ECMO right now. It isn't looking good right now so continued prayers are very much appreciated and I am SO GRATEFUL for every message and prayer sent. I'm sorry if I haven't messaged everyone back it has been a very emotional, busy, and stressful day. Thank you ❤️

She's doing much better on the ECMO. Oxygen 90 to 100 and heart rate at 140-150 and she's all pink now. And her lungs are getting what they need right now. Last night her oxygen was 55 and heart rate 210 and both her heart and lungs were failing. All of these machines are keeping her alive and she is stabilized and paralyzed so the machines can do their job. She's regular pink color now and was blue last night. She will look very swollen on this machine and have her like this for a couple days and we will see if there's any improvement. The Lord has a perfect plan no matter what happens and even if we don't understand it now. Thank you for all of the prayers and support ❤️
