On Friday, Oct. 13, Sara was involved in a car accident on the way to school in Lakeside, MT. A deer was hit by an oncoming car and it flew in the air and hit Sara's windshield; Josie and Peter were in the vehicle and unharmed. Sara was admitted to Kalispell Regional Medical Center with significant head trauma and was in the ICU for 19 days. On Oct. 31, she was discharged from the ICU and transferred to Inpatient Rehabilitation at KRMC, where she underwent extensive therapy to regain basic functions for nearly three weeks. Miraculously, after 39 days in the hospital, on Nov. 20, Sara was released from the hospital to return home with Cory and their children. Her therapy continues on her long road of recovery. Thank you for your ongoing cares and prayers.
