Dear Friends of Sara, Sara was recently diagnosed with leukemia after blood work was done at a routine doctors appointment. She had absolutely no symptoms, felt great, and was completely surprised by this news. After a few very full days, Sara checked into OHSU for what looks to be a month long stay for treatment. Her treatment plan is forecasted to take about 5 to 6 months. She looks forward to summer when she can put all of this behind her. We are using this page to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of humor & encouragement. Thank you!
