On January 17, 2019, Sara experienced an aortic dissection (
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/aortic-dissection/symptoms-causes/syc-20369496). As is her style, she didn't mess around and got quick treatment as soon as symptoms arose. After quick visits to Fosston and Fargo, she was airlifted to the cardiac ICU at Fairview University Hospital in Minneapolis. She is still undergoing testing to determine next steps in her care, which will likely include surgery. In the meantime, Shelly, Liberty and sister Joann are with her at the hospital while Lynn is at home with Tal and Ellie. We will provide updates as we learn more and appreciate well wishes and prayers for her full recovery.
