In Augist of 2010, when Sara was 34 years old, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her cancer is a stage 4 as it has metastasized in both her chest cavity and in her brain. She has had a bilateral mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiation, multiple craniotomies and surgeries, and participated in drug trials over the last 6+ years to treat the cancer. Having exhausted all treatment possibilities, she is now being cared for by TRU Hospice at home where she lives with her loving husband Mike and son Jack. Sara's family has organized this site so that friends and family can have a central meeting place to share love and support for Sara. Thank you for participating.
