Well, once again I find it necessary to maintain a Caringbridge site, this time for our mother, Sara. This past Wednesday 11/9/16, she was scheduled for surgery to repair a hernia. Unfortunately, when the surgeon got into her abdomen with the camera, he observed what he believed to be cancer. He immediately took some fluid, sent it to the lab and confirmed it his suspicions to be true. When Barbara, Gayland, and I were called back, he sadly broke the news that he had found a good bit of cancer within her abdomen. He then broke the news to mother and of course, she took it like a champ, completely trusting God's plan for her life. So, her cancer journey has begun once again. We truly appreciate your prayers, and we know God has a plan already in place. We thank you for visiting her site, and invite all family and friends to keep in touch with her as she travels this path.
