On December 1, we went to our 20 week ultrasound to find out if our third baby was a boy or girl.  We were excited when we saw baby BOY on the monitor and sat in the waiting room discussing names.  We then were called back for our doctor appointment and were told our little miracle had SPINA BIFIDA.  We certainly did not expect to hear those words, but it was not going to change the love we had for our baby.  Since getting confirmation of this diagnosis (myelomeningocele), we have learned a lot about what to expect, the many unknowns, and the medical interventions available to help our little boy.  We appreciate your support as we navigate this new path through life!
