We have been on a 3 year journey to figure out what is going on with Sarah. Our precious girl hurts and nobody could figure it out. We’ve been to countless doctors, specialists, rheumatologist, orthopedic specialist- physical therapy, water therapy- you name it! Even dry needling and nothing has brought her relief. I began researching everything possible firing docs along the way for not listening until we finally got with the best doc at Cincy’s Children’s Hospital and she suggested a Dr Sherry who practiced in Philadelphia- ugh he wouldn’t see Sarah because she was over the age of 16. I was desperate and the nurse on the line could hear it too and before hanging up she pointed me to Children’s Mercy Health in Kansas City Missouri because there was a doc there who had studied under Dr sherry! I called immediately and was told they couldn’t see Sarah until January 16- so we took it. BUT GOD in his kindness and love for Sarah moved and we received a call just 2 weeks later saying they had an evaluation appointment open up in November!! We flew out and met with the team of Docs for over 5hrs!! It was exhausting, emotional but when we left we felt hopeful!! They diagnosed Sarah with AMPS amplified musculoskeletal pain syndrome. They said they could give her her life back. We just needed to wait on insurance to say they’d pay. Then a week ago we got the call they had an opening to begin treatment! She begins treatment Tuesday the 15th (the day before she was originally supposed to be here! Look at you God!! I see you there!! And that leads us to today- we are here in Kansas City Missouri for the next 4-6 weeks for Sarah to begin the VERY DIFFICULT rehabilitation program. We know God has orchestrated this journey and we are ready to give him the glory! . Prayers very much appreciated and needed.
