After spending my entire life sick, onset age 6, I finally got a doctor at 36 who took me seriously. After finally getting the testing I’d been begging for my entire life, I have Hashimotos, Multiple Sclerosis, Raynauds, Fibromyalgia, Dysautonomia, and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. I spent my entire life beyond fatigued and exhausted in pain I didn’t even identify as pain because it’s literally been life long snd I assumed everyone felt the same, believing I was inadequate and lazy, and wondering why I sucked so much at life. It turns out I was just sick my entire life and dismissed and invalidated and assumed to be lazy and dramatic, and was expected to keep up with everyone else. Unlearning that has been quite a battle that I’m still solidly losing. Therapy is very helpful. ;)
