I was diagnosed with breast cancer on 1/12/18. (Stage 1, ER/PR positive, HER2 negative).   I felt the lump myself.  I had a bilateral mastectomy on Feb 13 at 7 am at Seton Medical Center.  I will have breast reconstruction surgery on May 8 at St. David's on 32nd.  I'll be in the hospital for 3 to 5 nights and then my recovery at home will be about 3 weeks.  I won't be able to stand up straight, do any housework or cooking, or drive.
