I was diagnosed with breast cancer on 1/12/18. (Stage 1 or 2, not sure until surgery, and ER/PR positive, HER2 negative).   I felt the lump myself.  I'm having surgery on Tuesday, Feb 13 at 7 am at Seton Medical Center.  I'm having a bilateral mastectomy, and a plastic surgeon will be in the OR to put in expanders so that I can have reconstruction later in the spring.  The oncologist will look at the pathology from the surgery and will tell me a few days after if I will need chemotherapy or radiation.  It's looking possible that I won't, and my fingers are triple-crossed!
