Sarah Hendrie

On December 23rd, 2016 Sarah learned that she had been diagnosed with cancer. It is a squamous cell carcinoma that was originally found in her gall bladder and liver. Since the 23rd, she has been lovingly adopted by the Liver and Oncology Team at UCLA Medical Center, and their group has treated Sarah so incredibly well and we continue to sing their praises. On January 13th, Sarah underwent a surgery and Dr. Busuttil of the Liver team was able to mark her tumor locations to provide more clarity on treatment moving forward.  

The next steps for Sarah will be a chemotherapy treatment plan at the UCLA Oncology Center in Irvine, and we will be updating the journal as the treatment progresses. We're sure we don't have to tell all of you that Sarah is a strong-willed, determined, fighter, but we believe in strength in numbers, and the more people we can have praying and supporting her throughout this journey the better. Please leave any well wishes, prayers, or words of encouragement below. We have no doubt Sarah can beat this and we will all be here for her every step of the way!!!

We will also be providing the link to her meal service plan when it is available, so the only things she needs to worry about is healing :)
