As some of you may know, mom started complaining about some back pain toward the end of July (2016).  If you know Sarah, then you know that by the time she starts mentioning pain, she is probably already hurting pretty badly.  Two weeks later she was in so much pain she was getting around in a wheelchair.  Docs thought it was a pulled back muscle, but when Neil came to check on her in person, he realized something more must be going on and took her back to the doctor for a closer look.  MRI and CT scans showed that she had tumors in several places on her spine - likely metastases from some kind of uterine cancer.  Gyno oncologist admitted her to the hospital straight from his office on Sept 1st.
