Our wonderful daughter, Sarah DeRubis, was unexpectedly diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia last week. She is currently at UW Hospital in Madison undergoing intensive chemotherapy treatment.
Her outlook is very optimistic. She is in one of the best hospitals in the country, has an excellent team of medical support, and amazing friends and family who continue to keep her spirits up. Sarah's attitude is one of positivity, and she is looking forward to a full recovery.
Everyone who knows Sarah knows what a loving, kind and giving person she is. Thank you for your support and prayers.
