After recovering from colon cancer 11 years ago, I visualized a much-appreciated long healthy life ahead. After retiring in November 2017 I joyously launched myself into delightful activities, volunteering, fitness, travel, and adventure. But in August 2018 I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, stage 3C, so before me now extends a path of chemo, surgery, then more chemo. I am hoping for the best but the future remains unknown.
