This is the underneath side of my new left breast. The steri-strips on the top is where they cut and put the expander. The skin on rhe bottom is where they are watching and are concerned that skin may die off. If that happens, I will have to have skin grafting done.

Sara Connell My Breast Cancer Journey

First post: Feb 5, 2017 Latest post: Jul 7, 2021
In December I found a swollen lymph node under my left arm pit.  After several appointments I was diagnosed with breast cancer.  I find that writing every detail of my story helps me get my feelings out and it documents what I have gone through.  Hopefully my story will help others going through the same journey so they know what is coming and what they feel is normal.
