It has been an interesting few weeks in the Tollefson household...to say the least. I have been diagnosed with two brain masses. But let’s start with the good news: they are primary masses in the frontal lobe and have nothing to do with the ovarian cancer I had over 19 years ago. Thank goodness! This Thursday we are going in for a brain biopsy and we will know more next week in terms of what we are dealing with. We are staying positive and hopeful and focusing on taking it one day at a time, one step at a time. We will get through this through the support and prayers of our good friends and family. We will keep you informed of our progress and plans. And again, thank you for the support. Onward and upward!! (As I write this, I found myself reflecting on this amazing, wonderful community that was sparked by little Bridgitte so many years ago. CaringBridge is truly a gift as we all walk this journey called life…sharing the highs, the lows, the good, the bad and most of all, sharing our support and love for each other.)
