Sandy had a stroke in early April.  She was unconscious for 4 -5 days prior to being found.  She spent one week in the hospital and one week in rehabilitation before being moved tot Carlton Care facility in Elk Grove.   Sandy has bullous pemphigoid, a rare skin disease, which is making her recovery extremely difficult.  Her physical recovery is hampered because of the struggle she is encountering controlling the extremely large blisters she gets.  Additionally, her mental capacity is diminished.  She has good days and bad days.
