Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. 

Sandy has been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.  Specifically it’s a follicular lymphoma, which is a cancer of the blood.  Sandy is at least stage 3, meaning her cancer is in her lymph nodes throughout her body rather than localized to one area.   Sandy’s particular type of cancer is very esponsive to chemo.   Both doctors she has seen are very positive and expect her to get through this.  Because of her stage, she will need an aggressive and difficult chemo regimen.  But she will get through this.
