After several months of Dr appointments to figure out why the continued cough, wheezing and shortness of breath finally brought Mom to the ER and admitted to get some much relief and treatment. During her stay a chest X-ray showed a suspicious mass. A CT scan and ultimately a needle biopsy confirmed a diagnosis none of us were prepared for. Mom has lung cancer.
You are welcome to follow her journey and treatment as Sean and I will do our best to keep her family and friends updated as we all struggle to understand this, cope and navigate the road she is traveling right now. Ed has her in the best of care, and she is in his loving heart and hands. Please pray for her, she is strong in her faith and we have an amazing strength in our family circle.
